Our Food…


We pride ourselves on serving great tasting, locally sourced food to an excellent standard.  You can eat in our bar area if you prefer a casual meal, or try our bistro and conservatory areas if you fancy something a little more private.

Our excellent wine list offers 14 different wines by the glass and 40 by the bottle to accompany your meal. Our knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to help when it comes to selecting the perfect beverage.

We offer catering for large parties and functions. Our large private dining room can seat up to 30 people and our bistro seats up to 17. We offer either a sit down meal or buffet service catering for private events. For more information please give us a call.

About our Chef…


Nick Tyler has been working at the Trengilly for nearly 30 years. He has a passion for great food and always chooses locally sourced produce. Nick runs the kitchen team with an eye for detail and has won an impressive collection of awards over the years. The only drawback is his singing!

Tom is Nick’s second in command and has worked for the Trengilly since he was a boy.  Tom left us briefly to train as a chef, but we’re delighted to have him back now fully trained!
