Our recent visit to Cornwall - We visited Trendily Wartha Inn on Saturday 1st June with my brother & sister-in-law. We all enjoyed our meals, I am a vegetarian and I had the "Chick Pea Cauliflower... Read more Curry"... which was delicious and a very nice surprise from the normal vegetarian options I have to choose from at most places ! ! My partner had the Tandoori Chicken with naan bread, twice fried chips & salad which he said was exceptional ! ! We then all finished the meal with a selection of home made desserts. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Cornwall... not only was the food superb, the atmosphere in the Pub added to our enjoyment. Julie H

We went to our room after lunch and it was immaculate and large with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was stupendous I couldn't eat it all! As we had had lunch we didn't want a big dinner but our hosts provided us with a gorgeous cheeseboard to take to our room- perfect! Trengilly Wartha is a hidden gem

Some of the best food in Cornwall - Came here with family just after Christmas. My sisters review is Yum yum. The pub is nicely decked out with a busy vibe. Service is great and the menu is... Read more amazing. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is some of the best food in Cornwall. The 5 star Carbis Bay Hotel is the only place to beat it and there is a massive price difference. The pigeon starter was really good but the pheasant stew stole the show. So tasty and so much meat.

Hidden Little Gem - Really good - if you're looking for an uber modern clinical overnight stay then this is not for you. However, if you're looking for a warm, friendly 'home from... Read more home' atmosphere, then The Trengilly Wartha Inn is just the place. I stayed in Room 7 which was perfect for my needs and we'll equipped for my stay. The food was very very good, and I would highly recommend the duck, which I finished the meal with the Baileys Cheesecake - both were beautifully prepared, cooked, and served in a professional but friendly manner. The breakfast was lovely - perfectly poached eggs with toasted homemade bread. I cannot rate this establishment highly enough and will definitely return again, thanks to all the staff and management.

Little gem in very pretty grounds. - What an absolute little gem this place is. We were staying locally and went for dinner. The pub had a relaxed atmosphere and our order was taken promptly. The waitress... Read more was extremely helpful and when she found one of us was a vegetarian, she couldn't do enough to accommodate us. She even said the chef would do something different to the menu if our party member didn't see anything she fancied. This kind of service is outstanding and fairly uncommon. When the food came it was delicious and the puddings were to die for..all homemade too! We will be returning on our next visit to Cornwall. Thank you again for brilliant food and service!
